Solar Island (Private) Limited – PV 00255921 is an EPC contractor for solar photovoltaic services in line with the ongoing Battle for Solar Energy Program in the country fighting the challenging net zero-emission.

Request a free quote by submitting our online Contact Form. One of our sales representatives will contact you for the onward action.
Site Visit, and professional Recommendation

Upon your request, our experts will visit your property and carry out an architectural and electrical assessment based on your property structure and energy forecast. We would design and propose the most suitable solar PV system that fits your needs and budget.
Quotation and sign of Service Contract

A customized system quotation based on your current and future energy forecast will be submitted. The flexibility in BOM and BOS is considered without compromising Solar Island’s expertise recommendation. A service contract for a lifetime will be signed on stipulated terms and conditions.
System Installation and Commissioning

In consultation with our in-house chartered electrical engineer, our own technical team accredited by the SLSEA will carry out the system installation with the onsite supervision of a company electrical engineer until commissioning the solar PV system to the national grid.
System Monitoring and Maintenance

A web browsing tool to monitor your PV system generation is provided free of charge. We protect all our PV systems installed with an insurance cover for the first year on fire and damages from external impacts. The PV systems not required to be serviced frequently nor replaced the parts. However, the periodical servicing will be scheduled readily avail on call for technical assistance.

Consultant – Civil & Structural Engineering

Solar panels significantly increase the weight of any existing roof structure. Therefore, professional advice is mandatory before carrying out a PV installation. Our consultant conducts the load capacity calculations and determines whether the roof can support the new load or not. He further guides our team in constructing steel structures that mount solar panels to guarantee that no damage can occur to PV cells due to mechanical instability over time

He advises the team on Off-grid and Hybrid PV installation project designing, planning, and implementation with contemporary energy storage systems – ESS, to approach the customized demands. The country is set forward to a hybrid photovoltaic methodology due to the ongoing power crisis. He drives the engineering team to reach new heights of the demanding power and renewable energy

He is a young engineer holds responsible for providing innovative and comprehensive solutions in design engineering for domestic and commercial scale solar photovoltaic projects. Excellent in collaborative works in the team-based project environment. He liaises closely with sales and technical teams to reach the best outcome in every project.

Asst. Engineer Design & Installations

A young diploma holder in electrical engineering and solar photovoltaic. Gathers analytical data, conducts site inspections, provides feasibility reports, and installs solar PV systems to achieve excellence in terms of the company objectives. He analyzes the online performances of installed PV systems and schedules required technical attendances whilst enhancing the credibility of value-added services for the clients.

Supun Praboda

Technical Officer & Logistics Manager

Electrical & Electronic Engineering – NVQ level IV

5 years PV installation experienced young technician, spearheads the company installation team. Qualified in electronic and electric engineering. He further discharges the responsibilities of managing the supply chain of men and materials for the project disposals, and the company-owned fleet of vehicles.
